The Pazcífico Forum: Solidarity Region brings together nearly 200 solidarity and ethnic organizations from the departments of Chocó, Valle del Cauca, Cauca, and Nariño, with the aim of positioning the social and solidarity economy as an essential driver for the economic development of the Pacific region.
Over two days, community organizations, public institutions, international cooperation, and academic centers will share experiences, proposals, and challenges to build a community-centered economy based on associativity, sustainability, and local production.

In the session “The Spanish Cooperation’s commitment to the solidarity economy in Colombia”, moderated by Miguel González Gullón, General Coordinator of Spanish Cooperation in Colombia, the following will participate:

Partners and Organizers
The event is organized by the Administrative and Planning Region RAP Pacífico and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), with the support of national, regional, and international entities. Among the partners are the Ministry of Labor, the Mayor’s Office of Cali, UN Women, the Chamber of Commerce of Cali, Supersolidaria, Javeriana University, the Solidarity Unit, and the Department of Social Prosperity, among others.
Objectives of the Forum
- Strengthen the capacities of solidarity and ethnic organizations.
- Review national and regional policies related to the popular and solidarity economy.
- Explore financing mechanisms and international cooperation.
- Advance towards a regional public policy that articulates investments, priorities, and productive chains.
