On 27 January 2026, ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) will officially launch the Roadmap for integrating the Social Solidarity Economy (SSE) into the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This strategic document proposes a common action framework to strengthen the role of SSE as a driver of sustainable development across Southeast Asia.

The event will present the goals, targets, and action vision for 2026–2030, as well as the key elements of the SSE approach to accelerate SDG achievement in the region.

The Roadmap is a five-year action plan designed to guide the integration of SSE initiatives and practices into the SDG agenda at the ASEAN level. It is the result of a participatory process, in which SSE and SDG practitioners contributed their insights on how this strategic tool should be shaped.
