Theme of the conference: “Navigating the Future: The Social and Solidarity Economy as a Driver of ASEAN Prosperity”

The event aims to officially launch the ASEAN SSE–SDG Roadmap (2026–2030) and strengthen regional alignment around inclusive and sustainable development through the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE).

As the Philippines prepares to assume the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Chairmanship in 2026, the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) is leading a strategic shift from a welfare-based approach to poverty toward inclusive economic integration grounded in SSE.
