This meeting is organized by the Solidarity Unit of the Government of Colombia, together with the World Social Forum of Transformative Economies (FSMET) and various national and international alliances.

An essential event for those who believe in a social solidarity economy, sustainable and centered on life.

Words of Sandra Moreno Cadena

“The Social Solidarity Economy is indispensable to face the structural challenges of current global development, but it requires profound political and financial changes, as well as a real commitment from States and multilateral organizations. Only through the democratization of the financial architecture and the strengthening of civic space—alongside the implementation of RIPESS and civil society recommendations—will it be possible to scale up the transformative impact of the SSE.”

From RIPESS we thank the Solidarity Unit of the Government of Colombia, the FSMET, and all the alliances that make this event possible, for opening spaces of international articulation around the SSE and its role in addressing climate change, energy transition, development financing, education, and the implementation of UN resolutions.

Let’s keep building economies for life!
