On May 20, 2025, at the City Hall of Yaoundé (Cameroon), Elise Pierrette Memong Meno, Secretary General of RAESS (African Network for the Promotion of Social and Solidarity Economy), RAESS representative on the RIPESS Board of Directors, and President of RESSCAM in Cameroon, was awarded the title of Officer of the Cameroonian Order of Merit. The distinction was presented by the Governor of the Central Region, on behalf of the Head of State.

This prestigious national honor recognizes more than three decades of tireless work in combating violence against women, supporting survivors, and advocating for a fairer, more equitable and inclusive society.
