
On 16–17 December 2025, the Workshop on the Appropriation of International Instruments for the Promotion of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) will take place in Bamako, Mali. This strategic event aims to strengthen collective understanding and implementation of key international frameworks supporting SSE development in Africa.
The workshop is organized by RAESS (African Network for the Social and Solidarity Economy), in collaboration with RIPESS and WSM/INSP!R West Africa, with the support of the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACCD), within the framework of the ACCD/RIPESS project.
Objective of the workshop
To enable African SSE stakeholders to take ownership of the African Union’s Ten-Year Strategy on SSE (2023–2033), as well as the United Nations and ILO resolutions on SSE and decent work, and to actively contribute to their implementation at continental, regional, and national levels.
