From June 2nd to 13th, 2025, the International Labour Conference of the ILO will hold a General Discussion on “Innovative approaches to tackling informality and promoting transitions towards formality”, to promote decent work.
This webinar will present initiatives from all over the world aimed at supporting workers towards formalisation. The webinar will also provide an opportunity to discuss the challenges and objectives of this General Discussion.
With contributions from social movements and trade unions from Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, Africa and Europe, as well as from the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), the International Labor Organization (ILO), WIEGO and RIPESS.
RIPESS will be represented by Hans Cediel, representative of the Board of Directors of RIPESS LAC and Red de Economías Transformadoras Latinoamericanas, in Colombia.
