The Asian Solidarity Economy Council (ASEC), RIPESS member, will participate in the ASEAN SDGs-SSE Forum, that will take place from 22 to 23 May in Kuala Lumpur to promote the Social Solidarity Economy to advance the Agenda 2030.
This ASEAN SDGs-SSE Forum serves as a platform for fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration among policymakers, academics, CSOs and NGOs, private sector leaders, and international and regional development agencies.
The forum underscores the immense potential and emerging challenges within the ASEAN region while emphasizing the importance of inclusive dialogue to assess achievements, address obstacles, and chart the path forward. It aims to build solidarity and ensure that no one is left behind in the pursuit of sustainable development across ASEAN.
The primary objective is to co-develop the ASEAN SDG-SSE Community Roadmap (2026-2030), aligning efforts toward sustainable and inclusive growth in the region. The ASEAN SDG-SSE Community Roadmap (2026-2030) is set to be presented at the ASEAN People’s on the 24th to 25th of May 2025.
